Our Mission

Our mission is to protect the character of today’s Muslim youth and shape them into life-long learners, future leaders, and selfless members of society by raising them in a safe, culturally diverse, well-rounded academic environment founded on the teachings of Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him.

Our Core Values:

About Us

The Islamic Education School in Philadelphia began over twenty-five years ago catering to the emergent community need of having a safe, moderate school for our children founded on high standards and religious integrity. Relying on our association’s core values of moderation, openness, wisdom, and cooperation, we have grown over the years to into a certified childcare center, private elementary and middle school, Saturday School, and –  most recently – online extracurricular language and Qur’an studies for children.  We also saw the birth of sister campuses across the country which include a high school program as well.

Our TIES TOTS early childhood program is geared to meet the varying needs of children ages 6 weeks to 13 years old. We believe these are critical years for cognitive, linguistic, social-emotional, gross motor, and religious development in children. We work together with families, partner agencies, coaches, and consultants to meet the needs of our children at each stage of their development. The curricula, assessment tools, and activities we implement are developmentally appropriate and align with state and quality program standards.

For over 26 years, we have been providing  a variety of programming to meet the needs of our students. Our goal is to instill the love of learning in our children and  provide them a safe, stimulating environment that encourages responsibility, ethics, diversity. Students learn under the supervision and guidance of trained, caring, and dedicated team of educators. Our programming includes:

We are proud to be a Pennsylvania Keystone Star facility, members of PACCA, First Up, and Action for Early Learning. We continually challenge ourselves to excel. To provide the best programming that we can to our children, we collaborate and work closely with:

Our dedicated and sincere TIES TOTS team is committed to making our families’ early learning experience a beneficial and memorable one.
